Everything started in 2005 when I was 15 years old. I was browsing YouTube and came across Reason. I was not able to use it because I didn’t have a midi keyboard, plus it was way too complicated in my opinion. Upon further research I came across Fl Studio and it was love at first sight. My first like anybody else’s first beat was bad.
Timbaland, The Runners, Kanye West and Scott Storch inspired me the most when I first started.
I use FL Studio 10 and an Axiom keyboard
I use the Axiom Midi Keyboard, Omnisphere VST, and Electrax VST.
On Average it can take me 30 minutes to compose a solid beat. I mix and master as I go so it makes the process much faster.
I used to use www.looperman.com and Splice but nowadays i believe it's best to compose ideas yourself so you don't share the same sounds with other people.
The melody is always first for me because the drums revolve around the melody.
My greatest success thus far is going platinum in France. My brand has evolved over time, with Instagram branding and sponsorship. I believe Instagram is the new TV so being seen by everybody there is like running a commercial on TV. You must assure you advertising yourself the right way.
Airbit and Beatstars.
Billboard Hot 100 is my goal and I am working on that everyday.
Music is all I do everyday so IT IS my daily routine.
As for any producer the challenge is always getting placements and having that 6th sense for the next hottest thing to blow.
I never thought about quitting because music is all I see when I close and open my eyes, nothing else!
My hunger to achieve more, earn plaques and awards keeps me driven and inspired everyday.
My advice is to work with your peers and always keep developing yourself and your sound. Don't follow the crowd, be yourself.
I am always open for collabs with artists or beatmakers and I work with all genres.
